There are people in the know, they just aren't the average 4chan gotta leak it now person. The guy who translated the older Pokemon games has been in the loop since before the announcement (even saying that it would blow our minds.) However, these people are professionals that aren't willing to lose their jobs over internet fame. They make real money at their jobs with insurance and retirement plans. Until it reaches the minimum wage stock clerk at a store, information and the games are going to be tightly controlled.
