The only way to get a team that doesn't have any repeating types and utilizes all the starters available is Chespin, Torchic, and Squirtle.

In gen 3, Grovyle was top tier and the other two middle evos were shit looking. Guess what happened after that?

If Chespin truly does end up as shit, then I'll reconsider and go Froakie, who is looking promising. But second stage evos speak shit for the next stage.
