I wouldn't call it confirmed but I don't think anyone could call it terribly far-fetched.
It seems to be more in the vein of the HGSS hints in DPPt and the like when those were all the rage.
But it gets me thinking. Exactly HOW FAR AHEAD to they PLAN these damn things? I mean this is BW ONE for fuck's sake, this is late 2010 stuff. I find it both impressive and hard to believe that Game Freak has the brass balls to take on three to four in-dev games at a time, especially when you're wrapping up development on the release of one generation and ALREADY starting development on THE NEXT ONE.
