Shitty animations and shadows in sky battles. Generic models for fly and surf animations.
No pokemon following you around.
No 3d in overview mostly in battle.
Rumors of no other region post game.
Battle circles cannot be turned off.
Same environment for wifi battles.

Rumor is that breeding is now partly tied to Amie, along with it being tedious as fuck.
You're forced to wear a hat during your whole journey.
The new pokemon will be immensely overpowered compared to past pokemon, which is why the old ones got mega evos.
No overworld 3D, which is kinda give-and-take.

Teams have to have synergy and be able to handle a meta. If everyone uses one mega, they have to build a team around it. Once that happens, people will build teams to counter it, and teams to counter those teams.

The meta naturally works itself out.

There will be a global ranking system for many different types of battles ingame and a leaderboard

The map looks pretty big and detailed, actually. The number of currently revealed towns is the same as in Black/White, and there appears to be a greater number of side-areas and wider landscape variety.
