Hey their /vp/. I haven't played a pokemon game since ruby. I just started to look into the new one coming out next week and I'm not impressed.

They look horrible, as do all Megas. The concept doesn't help either.

That said Venusaur and Mawile are the only decent megas.

I don't understand people at all. Ever since I got Yellow version when I was a child I've loved everything about Pokemon. I remember seeing a commercial for Emerald and I was like "holy shit they can move". When my friend showed me the first trailer for X and Y, I almost came in my pants. The addition to megas made me go crazy, I fucking love Mawile and they just made it more badass. I love Pokemon and everything they dish out I know it's from the heart. I feel bad for people who are stuck with nostalgia and who don't like certain features. I'm the happiest Pokemon fan there is.

This is my attitude towards Pokemon as well. Every single gen has stepped things up in some ways and been a bust in some others. Overall, however, I feel that the Pokemon games are all just fantastic, and I hope to continue playing them for as long as Game Freak pops them out.
