Why isn't the Pokedex better utilised in the game? It's one of your key roles in addition to becoming Champion, and it's practically worthless in-game.

Some things to improve the Pokedex's usefulness:

>The Habitat List was a good start, but it should be expanded to include each trainer's personal encounter rates for each wild pokemon in each new area
>The Pokedex should have a moveset list. Seriously, why doesn't it? Moves should be added to the list as you learn them. If you run into a Snorlax in a battle and it uses Snore, that should be added to your Pokedex movelist.
>Similarly, Ability Lists should be listed as you encounter them. If you trigger a trainer's pokemon's ability in battle, it should be added to the Pokedex.
