I enjoyed 3D Land on my 3DS and I'll also enjoy 3D World on my Wii U, like I did Pikmin 3, W101, WW Remake and MH3U.
As for the Wii U being a paperweight, well, there's no way around it: it'll gather dust if you get one right now, although I'm sure the system will be more attractive in the future.
Games like Smash and Zelda (not the WW remake, which is good but it's nothing new), will certainly make the system worthy of the purchase.
Lastly, I admit I only got one because I have/earn more money than I spend (savings included). Really, I don't give a shit and can easily purchase a few more if I wanted. Hopefully some poke games will come for it soon.
