Never happen. Wish it would, because I'd love it, but I just don't think they ever would. The closest I can see to this happening would be if they ever get past the handheld thing and make a console entry to the series that has DLC packs of previous regions. I'd still be okay with that, but I really just don't think they're ever gonna bother.

They could pull an Anime on our asses and make we pick a new starter and assemble a new team on each region.

Then after we complete all regions and the game's postgame begins, we gain access to all pokes.
