I feel like every legendary Pokemon has a legend associated with them except for Heatran.
>Mew is the ancestor of all Pokemon
>Lugia is the guardian of the ocean
>Groudon can summon landmasses from the sea
>And Heatran... can climb walls and ceilings

It doesn't have any sort of myth attached to it like every other legendary. There's no reason why it couldn't have been a regular Pokemon.

I like heatran. Fun trekking through that mountain in platinums post game. I think he's cute for some reason too. Just some legendary that climbs shit like a spider.

Why does it need to have a super special snowflake thing? It has a gender, and there are plenty of them.
Maybe it's just very rare.

Heatran was supposed to be a second pseudo Metagross counterpart, until someone decided at the last moment to make it a legend. That's why Gen IV has no wild fire-types.

LEGENDaries always have a LEGEND surrounding them. Even the other minor ones.

Heatran just exists and is called a legendary. Its not really a pattern

First off, he was in one of the anime movies which I forgot the name of, and he did bidding to some dickhead king.

Also, the real "legend" is that it's in that one mountain keeping the volcano under control. You should know that if you played D/P Platinums post game.
