Has anyone confirmed or denied the 70 new pokemon rumor?

I don't care about what pokemon are fake or whatever, I just hope this gen didn't get fucked so hard in terms of new pokemon. There should have been at LEAST 100.

Mega evolutions don't take up dex entries, yet need to be designed too.

Say we have 30 different mega evolutions, then we got around as much new pokemon as gen 2 and 4.

Really, gen 5 spoiled us with adding 150 new pokemon. And you know, it has been the pattern for a while now; first a big gen, then a small gen, then a big gen again, etc.

Besides, there hasn't been a gen yet where there haven't been at least 100 new pokemon.

Designing also means: making the 3D model and writing his stats so that it works in the game. So despite some of us disliking the designs of mega evolutions, yes, they were designed.

Gamefreak makes pokemon faster than they are put in games you know, if there's less than 150, they have a specific reason for doing that.

I've said it multiple times, but the "rumor" accompanied the first shots of Hawlucha. Hawlucha was later posted by the Italian reviewer woman on Pokebeach (or circulated on PB from her facebook).

In other words, the guy who originated 70 pokes/no postgame also originated Hawlucha. So it would be stretch to try and search for inconsistencies at this point.

I'm not kidding when I say if it's confirmed that there isn't even so much as a Battle Tower I might just not get the game. Would prefer to watch videos instead. Of course if I buy the third version, that goes on to encourage the model that it's "okay" for the first two to be content-devoid. I'd buy it anyway though.
