Pretty shit. Years ago, people would make their own pokemon and others would say it looks like shi becuase it's overcomplicated and way too dark. Now Gamefreak is running out of ideas and has nowhere to go besides DA and their shitty fanbase.

This game's over. I loved Diamond and Pearl. The pokemon looked really nice. Now it's downhill from here.

There's a difference between having a seam lined appearance with spikes, and just having random spikes for the sake of having spikes.

So both MegaMewtwo and MegaCharizard get blue and red eyes for their respective X and Y formes.

So any Pokemon who's eyes have changed colour for a Megalution probably have a counterpart.

For example, MegaBlastoise has Red eyes instead of it's normal brown...

If mega evolutions can't change moves while evolving, you would need to put physical moves on a a naturally special sweeper to take advantage of Charizard X's abillity,
But then if your opponent has no mega evolutions you can't evolve him and then your stuck with a special sweeper with physical moves.

Charizard Y won't be able to do shit even with Drought when it's Fire/Flying. A lot of pokemon in NU can destroy Charizard Y with zero effort.

Charizard X is both a physical sweeper and a dragon type. Charizard X will dominate OU for ages while Charizard Y will lie rotting down in NU.

Edgy design doesn't necessarily mean bad, dear anon. It's not even that edgy. Just black. Ok and spikes but still not that edgy. Also I think edgyness is more determined by backstory and the character's personality. Pikachu could easily be edgy with correct personality and background. Like those Team Rocket Pikachus, edgy as hell even though Pikachu as a design haven't even seen edgy.

This is actually what bugs me in both Megaevolutions. They don't look like they have upgraded. Y gets smaller and weaker hands and spike on its head. Fuck hurray. Meanwhile X becomes black and blue fire comes out of it's mouth 24/7. Fuck hurray again. At least X versions fire gets stronger because increased heat, which also makes me think his ability doesn't make really sense. Shouldn't increased fire heat increase his SpA and shit?

Ugh... Charizard learns plenty of Dragon-type moves. Dragon Claw, Outrage, Dragon Pulse...

Charizard Y will be missing out on Draco Meteor, though. Which suck since he's a special-based Pokémon.

Also people are deliciously forgetting that Charizard's physical movepool is much better than his special movepool.

It has tiny hands because the rest of it is focused on increasing the special attack. Charizard Y is suppose to be a special attacker.

I'm hoping the other two starters aren't both Y version exclusives. I'd like to see Blastoise get a quadrupedal armored water/steel form and maybe a more agile grass/dragon form for Venusaur.
