That's what I'm doing.

I have two 3DS's. I'll use my X copy for my main copy.

Y copy will probably be restarted over and over again for mono-type runs, gimmick runs, nuzlockes. I know you can do it on an emulator but it's nice to be able to do that shit on a 3DS without having to go through so much trouble.
