This, and the wings if I'm to be honest. I quite liked the wings Charizard Y has.

Other than that, it's pretty neat. FInally gets STAB for Flare Blitz and Outrage, as well as boosts for them.

I can already hear the faggots bemoaning that this actually looks like a mega evolution and charizard y just looks like bigger charizard. That's because most of the idiots on this board are fish that are baited by shiny things with eye catching colors instead of noticing that this charizard has the same face, body, arms, legs, tail and so on whereas charizard y only retained the same color.

It looks alright but I actually prefer Y (and not just because I already have Y preordered).

I was planning on using Charmander in my playthrough because he was my first starter and while X is cool it doesn't have the same Charizard feel as Y.

Also unless Charizard gets some fun new options in moves Drought is a way more fun ability.

The official site says:

"When Charizard holds a Charizardite X, it can Mega Evolve into Mega Charizard X! This item can be obtained only in Pokémon X."

From what I understand, the ITEM is version exclusive but it says nothing about it not being transferable to a Y version.
