Only real flaws that get brought up:
-Too much water (there is a bit too much, but it barely makes a third of the game, only real issue with it is unavoidable battles with crap pokemon)
-MUH TRUMPETS (which isn't a real complaint)
-MUH COLOR SATURATION
-Poor motives for the evil team (which are about as good as other evil teams)
Gen 2 has severe pacing, distribution and mechanical flaws
Gen 4 has severe pacing and distribution flaws
Gen 1 has severe mechanical flaws and slight distribution problems
Gen 3&5 have good pacing and distribution, which one is better between the two tends to be based on aesthetic choices.
