I'm still debating it. I nuzlocked White on my first playthrough up until I beat the gyms, but then said fuck it since everyone else was enjoying postgame without me. I dunno /vp/, what should I do?

I'm actually tempted to. Pretty much every playthrough I've done since it first came about I've felt I had to do it, the only thing that made me think otherwise was when they added the completionist aspects in the pokedex in B/W2.
Can't draw for shit though and can't be funny unless I'm not trying to be :(

I usually have the money to get both games at release. One I Nuzlocke, and one I Gift Run.

But I'm torn as to which run I should do, since I can only afford one right away...

I'm leaning toward Nuzlocke, since usually with Gift runs I can look up online where all the free Pokemons are and map out my run ahead of time.

Black 2 was a fun bitch.

Pokemon games are too simple, easy, and trivial for me to play a way other than Nuzlocke.

I guess we can just agree to disagree. I personally just hate the concept of Nuzlocke because most of my enjoyment from Pokemon is being able to use any Pokemon that I want in whatever way I want. Nuzlocke negates that, and makes you have to grind even more.

I'm doing it with Y, starting with Chespin. It's something I decided as soon as the games were announced. Hopefully gonna do a comic of quite a few runs once I get the proper tools and get everything figured out.

That's just how it goes. You don't know what to expect.
I lost to my rival in FireRed from a critical in the first fight. I also got swept in Victory Road in the BlazeBlack romhack because of a Chlorophyll Jumpluff.

Besides, once you lose, you can turn it into a normal run and catch what you missed, or just restart and play a new way or try again. It's just a little challenge to change things up. And sometimes you get some real bullshit thrown at you.
