Currently laying in bed completely dissapointed at myself for looking at the starters. No more hype, no more hope. Please /vp/ tell me why I should be excited for these games. I want to believe again.

Why do you care about starters so much? You don't have to use them. You can even use old starters if you want to. Or no starters at all. I hate the term, but it's pretty autistic to need to use the native starters. It's your own Pokemon adventure, do what you want. Don't use what is shit but don't complain about it either. There'll always be some retard who likes Swirlix's evolution just because everyone else hates it.

I agree that the starters are all decent at least, but I told myself that this would be the gen that would have tons of awesome new bros and now I'm being told there's only 70 new pokemon and that we already know more than half. I know the game is going to be good, I just want to forget everything I know and go in fresh and its too late for that now.
