>>14162514Not to mention some of the gen2 Pokemon are relegated to swarms or only appearing at night, and only about half the Gym Leaders actually use one of the newer Pokemon (seriously Game Freak? You had to make Morty redundant as shit when you could've just given him a Misdreavus?). Combined with shit movepools, stats, and a lack of an evolution for several of them, it's as if GameFreak was giving every reason possible to never even bother with the new guys and to just trade over our old teams.
Amusingly enough, Colosseum was probably the best showcasing that Johto Pokemon got, and that wasn't even done by Game Freak.
