Do you not pay attention? They do it every generation. Just because something is regular does not mean a company won't use it to make their product look good. Like I said, /vp/ doesn't understand marketing. But that's fine. Everyone can just be more disappointed when we find out there really is only 70-80 new Pokemon. Just trying to educate people on how things actually work before it gets to that point. It's already too late though, realistically.

Reminds me of gen 2, to be honest. Some neat new features that improved upon the old gen, but for the most part a whole lot of forgettable, bland shit.

I still have my favorites (Mareep line, Espeon, Heracross to name a few) but for the most part, just a lot of shit.
