>>14175729The speculation has a basis though, as all speculation does. What the heck does that even have to do with being a baby or indicating that I need to grow up? Why did you even include that in your post other than to demean me for no real reason?
Lucario gained 185 BST (and not just in Attack, but in Speed), jumped up to 710 BST which is bested only by Arceus himself, and got a god-tier ability.
All we know about Mega Mawile is that it gets Huge Power and its Defense and Special Defense increase. Unlike Mawile, Lucario was already an amazing Pokemon with a high BST, and now he got an amazing buff, ESPECIALLY in Speed, where he really didn't need it. Meanwhile, Mawile starts at 380, which is solidly in the lower half of all Pokemon. Even if they gave her +185 too, it would only place her at 565 total, which is not even on par with most psuedo-legendaries. Chances are, they're not going to give her any more attack since she already has Huge Power. What she really needs is 1.5-2x her speed or more, a LOT more Def and Sp.Def and perhaps maybe some HP. And we can clearly tell that GameFreak are picking favorites here what with Mega Charizard X/Y and now Mega Lucario.
Mark my words, Mega Mawile's speed is most likely not going to get past 75-80, when 80+ is what she needs the most to make the biggest use of Mega Evolution. She already has Huge Power so she won't need any more Attack, but they're probably going to throw all her BST into more attack and shit she doesn't need like Sp.Atk, instead of putting it into Speed.
Now can her leveling moveset and learnable move pool change? Yeah? But I doubt they're going to give her a Fairy type priority move or Bullet Punch, and I doubt they're going to add Autotomize, Agility, Rock Polish (a lot of non-Rock Steel Pokemon can learn Rock Polish), or a Fairy version of the above in order to make her more viable.
This was only created to make their favorite Pokemon stronger.
