Even if I could get pass some of the designs, the fact that GF is fucking us over with post game content and a small Gen 6 roster still disappoints me.

No, not really. I'm not tired of the Pokemon franchise. The core is still great. I love most of the old Pokemon. I could play games like B/W or Explorers of Sky or Trozei forever if they kept making new ones.

Am I tired of the treatment the franchise has been getting on the 3DS? Sure. The new Mystery Dungeon was half-assed shit. GenVI looks like it's going to be the worst generation by far. But the key is: I'll still be willing to give Pokemon another chance if it fixes things up. Remember how much D/P sucked?

I sort of was, but Chespin and Froakie turned out to my liking, so I'm set for this gen, as long as there's 6 decent thing for me to use for one run, it's fine.

I can confirm that I won't be getting gen 7 though.
