Nothing in QLD, checked today. Still I will be checking the local malls everyday until release, especially EB as they have a tendency to break street dates. I think there's a good chance I'll be able to get it somewhere before the 12th.

I wouldn't know shit about any of that, then. I've seen them break quite a few dates, though. When the Battlefield 3 street date was broken, tons of EBs started selling because they figured there was no point in holding back anymore.

Try any store that isn't specifically gaming related. Target and Big W and such, as they don't have as much knowledge on the release date and are likely to sell it to you early because they don't know.

JB at Gardo are clenched; I tried getting something there early before and they were overly adamant. Big W and Kmart are both slack as fuck with putting new stock on the shelf. If I get the chance and traffic isn't too bad I might try and sneak up to Target at Central and try my luck there.

EB will be the best shot. They have a tendency to break street dates because their standard prices are higher, for eg they had GTA V for $110 whereas it's about $80 everywhere else. When they break highly anticipated games early they can cash in on their marked up prices. Source - worked there when they broke Skyrim a day early.

I was out already today so I just swung by the store and asked if the guy heard about the leaks. We talked for a while and eventually he said he'd be willing to sell me my preorder on Saturday, so I'm assuming that's when the game will actually be stocked over here. He could be full of shit as far as I know, but I'm still gonna go and check.

At the very least, when I worked at a game store most of the teenagers and juniors worked on the weekend. Chances are they'll be easier to push into selling it.
