Everything about this fucking anime. Its amazing. The characters are really well done. Much less annoying than ash. The colours, the style. Its all great.
But I want that sound track.
Just the reduxs of all the classic R/B/Y songs made my ear-dick rock hard.
My personal favourite is the Team Rocket Hideout music. TL:DR

The OST is amazing. I like the animation more than the regular series. There wasn't much character development but they were limited to a few episodes even so, those 2 hours made me care about red and green more than ash and all his friends

I like that they portray Red as being better at catching monsters than Green, with Green (for the most part) being the better battler. Of course Red's gonna beat Green at the end, but he has to because he's the PC.

Also, catching more monsters gives you a wider variety of options to choose from. And I like that Red changed his team a lot, too.

I never said it was perfect. I took t for what it is. They made me actually care about a Pokemon series and the characters within it in 88 minutes. Heck I had to choke back tears when I saw the cubone scene

I'm all for good characters, but they can only be good if you can actually, you know, judge their character.

It was good, not great but good.
The artstyle was closer to Sugimor's but it felt a bif off, too much sameface,
Skipping large parts of game, gyms and even E4, I know it would be impossible to fit the entire thing into 80min. but I really wanted to see that.
Other than that, it was really fun. Great OST( though they used FRLG Lavender Town theme instead of original), Red was a nice character (better than 2edgy4me, 2cool4school Red from Pixiv), Green was also better written than Gary, although still an asshole you could tell he still liked Red and they were friends.
Definitely will watch again when the subs are out.

Considering Jolteon was jobbing through out the entire special, you can think of it as JOlteon is a weak level because it never beat an opponent, so when a much higher level Ryhorn attack him, it was an instant KO no matter what

While Charizard probably isnt lv 185, I'm pretty sure Red over leveled his Charizard. So there is a good chance Charizard is levels above the Rhydon.

But it was just 4 episodes and putting htat into consideration, I think it was pretty damn good
