muh autism demands that my team have a total of 12 different types and use no previous gen pokemon on my first playthrough.

if you need 12 unique types and no old Pokémon, that narrows you down a bit. At least Doublade fits in and if Flabebé gains a secondary grass type, you're away.

Mega evos already confirmed to have uber stats. Mega Lucario has like 115 base spd, 145 base atk/satk and Adaptability.

Lucario was already strong with shitty ability, 115 base at and 80 base speed.

Pretty sure Mega Charizard X will have like 145+ atk took.

It's only weak to Rock, Ground and Dragon. Charizards always had 80+ stats with are pretty good and rounded.
