Is it bad that I would actually be totally okay with that? Having to constantly reset my pokedex progress by switching to a new game every other year is never fun, simply paying to add more content to the game I am currently playing is much preferred.

But honestly, it's pokemon. I'll probably pay anything and I typically don't buy any DLC's at all.
