ITT: Things from X and Y that annoy you to no end

So I was thumbing through the Joshua leaks from last night and I noticed something that truly bothers me. Why would they let you customize your trainers with things like facial hair and hundreds of colors and clothes, say that they want to let you implement yourself in the game, and then not allow you to take the hat off at all? The leaker himself confirmed that you can't take it off no matter what. Why do something lazy like that? It really takes me out of the whole thing when something as simple as that is not given any thought.
