Sex is the whole chromosomes thing that some organisms have.
Sex is a real thing, a biological thing.
Scientists don't talk about the genders of the animals because that is irrelevant, they talk about the sex of the animals.
The gender is really just a function of speech.
I don't give a shit about self identity, real or not, I don't care about it.
But the language has two genders that are based on two sexes and making up more because people think that different sexual orientations require different pronouns is stupid.
