I'm quite interested in the switch mechanics, to be specific.

Yeah played the demo at eurogamer.
You start the battle with the non mega form of the pokemon. Underneath the attack options there is LITERALLY a mega button. You press that and select an attack. You then evolve and attack on the same turn. (this can be used for hidden STAB)

This could mean (Mega)Charizard taking 4x stealth rock or not.
Also, Mega absol usefulness with Magic bounce

Yeah I don't like the idea. Kinda forces you to pick Charizard since he is speeshul.

I'm sad that Blastoise looks like shit. He was my gen 1 starter.

well, they are saying you find version exclusive stones like mewtwoite x for x and whatnot, so i assume you can just attach it to a pokemon and send it over.
