I said this with Tepig but I didn't completely hate Emboar I just liked Pignite better. In the end I had to evolve him. This time I'm sticking by it.

Although, the creator of this Poll didnt remember that we get to pick 1 Gen 6 and 1 Gen 1 starter at the beginning, or near the beginning, of the game...

so you can run Fennekin and Squritle or Froakie and Charmander, etc etc

You get two starters in X/Y, one from Gen 6, and one from Gen 1. This was officially confirmed 3 weeks ago.

Maybe it'll end up getting a new Grass type priority attack. Who knows, it's all speculation at this point. Maybe it's destined to just end up a tank.

We'll have to wait and see. I think what I love the most about new generations of Pokemon are the new moves.
