I've played Gen I to Gen IV competitively but stopped at Gen V (I don't even know all of the names of the Gen V Pokemon). Pokemon Black and Pokemon Black 2 have just been sitting for years in my DS but I decided to go back and finish them before X and Y comes out. Should I even attempt to try to learn Gen V's metagame (since VGC 2013 will be BW2 I think) or just wait for X and Y and play BW casually?
