The problem with Anime Mewtwo is they made him too powerful in M01 to really have any conflict in a movie associated with him.

So they made him a pacifist that would rather put himself in danger than fight back.

And yes, Origins Mewtwo, while not as powerful as M01 Mewtwo, was inherently more awesome than any sort of recent incarnation.

Bare with me.

I first saw Musharna, I thought it was spewing that gas out of its mouth and it was closing its eyes iand wincing n extreme pain. It made me sad every time I saw it.

Until I thought, wait. Is it sleeping? I turned my head, saw its eyes were actually closed very peacefully, then I was like, wait, where's its mouth.

Then I saw its mouth was tucked under, and the gas was coming out of its head.

That's no longer true. Heracross design has been tweak over the years, depending on the artist. In Pokedex 3DS the whole thing is his head.

It's worth to note you can't see anything from the back, and most things don't have stocks to the side of its head and mouth for its eyes.
