Yeah, this is genuinely one of the biggest shit-tier designs I've seen in the history of the series.

Crystal was my first game, Emerald's my favorite and I thought Gen IV had the best designs overall.

Still, art direction aside, X/Y is looking from a gameplay perspective to be excellent, so I can overlook this.
