I'm saying that anything that subverts your basic instinctual drive to cultivate your species, regardless of how cultivated your species actually is, is not healthy. And as you do not have a chemical/biological reason for this unhealthy habit, you are the only one to blame for it.
You are attempting to make it socially acceptable that not having children is considered the norm, when that literally goes against the basic instinctual drives we live on. If what you wanted was truly accomplished and our species suffered a natural disaster, it would be considered abnormal for our lowered and diminished population to try and grow again.
