Metagross is a lot better than most give him credit for, but he does have critical flaws. No recovery is the critical one. If Metagross got Recover
seriously why the fucking fuck doesnt he? Its the fucking ideal pokemon for it fuck Metagross would easily rise as an amazing tank/wall, even despite the new weaknesses (his offensive movepool is apt enough to deal, and resistances matter more for walling, which he still has plenty of).
Metagross also works great under the Rain, which this new pseudo obviously prefers.
The problem is, as a wall, Metagross is outclassed by Skarmory, and to an extent, Heatran. As an offensive tank pivot combo between Metagross and the new guy... now, that's a different question.
