I think it'll play out like this:
90-100 New Kalos Pokemon found before finishing the league.
??? Extra Pokemon found in National dex.
Assuming there's 450 in the regional dexes combined (150 each looks very likely right now), so far 284 of these have been non-Kalos Pokemon.
Let's round this up to 300 as the Mountain dex has loads of gaps.
That means:
We have 300 Non-Kalos Pokemon before the national dex is discovered, leaving 350 non-kalos to be discovered AFTER the national dex.
Bear in mind, Masuda said there will be over 650 Pokemon to be found in both games. Even if EVERY SINGLE post-game national dex Pokemon is non-kalos, that means the 100 or so slots that are still empty would have to be full of Kalos Pokemon.
That obviously won't happen, so I'd say it's very likely we're looking at 100 Kalos Pokemon in total at the very least and at the maximum about 150.
Kenpachi is just past the 5th gym (Just past the half way mark). If he's encountered about 65 Kalos Pokemon so far, that could easily mean there's another 40 in the second half of the game. Factor in postgame/national dex extras.
My prediction is 110-120 Kalos Pokemon...maybe 130ish if we're lucky.
