Man, I was really looking forward to having Swlirlix as my team's Fairy-type, but its evolution looks awful.

Guess I'm going with Flabebe, since its evo actually does look kinda cool.

Fairy type is a HUGE let down so far. Feels like every new Fairy was made entirely to appeal to girly girls. It's not like Dark was entirely hellhounds and shit, but Fairy is just full on 2cute and it's frustrating as hell. Aromatisse or Klefki need some cool evolutions to appease me.

I hope they do more fairy types that are based on fables and shit instead of pink cute things.

Dark types were mostly MEAN BLACK THINGS in GSC, so they might get more creative with them in future Gens.

Yeah, yeah I know, old Pokemon getting fairy slapped on. It just isn't the same though.

Also Aromatisse is probably my favorite,I just wish it's 3D model wasn't so bad.

As a poster child for fairy type design Xerneas is perfect. It's just shameful how bad the variety of designs are. And even though Dark was mostly BLACK THINGS, you had variation like Murkrow/Houndoom/Sneasel. Fairy is still largely "Stupid pink thing". Maybe Carbink will change it up.... but I'm simply not hopeful.
