Suppose gen 7 is set about 30 years after gen 6, and advances in pokéball technology have allowed all owned pokémon to fully heal between battles.
This would obviously impact many aspects of gameplay, and to compensate, all PP totals would be divided by 5, most trainers would be tactical geniuses with full teams, and wild pokémon would be able to call for reinforcements.
Would that be enough to make you quit the franchise forever, or would you defend the change because at least it's not stagnating?
