I feel like they could have been more transparent about the lack of 3D overworld. Saying it all last minute while fanboys are denying it just creates confusion. People who arent keeping up with the news are just gonna think their product is defective at launch.
I was disappointed by Gen 4s lack of Pokemon. Gen 6'es 70 new non Megas just doesnt cut it for me. If that floats your boat, cool. I just choose where to set my standards and this is it.
Id really like it though if Megas and Fairy type are designed to improve the metagame. If they just turn out to be casual pandering then I dont think Ill be sticking with Pokemon much longer.
