Why is everyone hating on Goodra? I just got home and saw it, I fucking love it. Definitely going to be putting one on my team.

The Pumpkaboo evo is a bit disappointing though.

Most were expecting some monster of a slug dragon that would eat and slime everything, but we got a cute goo slug in the shape of Dragonite.

I love the whole line to bits personally, just majority of the new gen seems to bit cute pokemon :x

Yes, I've been here since the leaks started. I've seen pretty much everything as they got leaked and posted to /vp/. Goomy and Sliggoo were great, and I think Goodra looks fantastic as well.

Im fine with it going cute personally. Gen 3 4 and 5 all had evil or angry dragons, so I feel it was about time for another cutie like dragonite. I am quiet pleased and am hoping for either dragon poison or dragon fairy. Am completely prepared to be disappointing with dragon/water however. Still gonna use.

People here expect things to go exactly like they want instead of what they get. They don't like Goodra or Chesnaught because they already had something in mind for both of them. (And also that stupid ass plague doctor theory that was doomed from the start.)

I personally love Goodra and Chesnaught.

I like both of them a lot. Would definitely use Gourgeist if I wasn't already using Chesnaught. Though admittedly, my like of Goodra is at least partially for fetishy reasons.

One thing almost no one seems to be noticing is that Gourgeist was labeled by the Pokedex as being in its "Small Size", like a Forme would be. Which means that image isn't all there is to see of Gourgeist. Who knows what a "Large Size" or otherwise might be.

And I'm perfectly fine with that, cute Pokemon are almost always my favorites.

I think the reason some people were disappointed by it was that they wanted to see a new style of dragon, because Dragoo's body type is a similar to Dragonite: a bipedal european dragon. I won't be disappointed as long as it's a dual type, preferably fairy, water, or poison
