And yeah, several of that group are evolved; a more mature point of their life.
And a lot are psychic and fighting types are in that group.
I think that might have to do with how psychic associates with the human brain, and fighting was the human body.
A lot of psychic attacks involve many things some people can do (tapping into mystical powers, seeing the future, telekenisis, etc.)
And fighting is self explanatory; throw in the aura as those sort of 'chi' attacks that some monks train.
Thinking; there are a few meanings I can get a starting idea of, but not fully fleshed out.
The evolved Pokemon are 'older,' so have a better grasp of the meaning of 'being married.'
The reason some pokemon are human-like could be because they still are more-or-less the embodiment of what lies beyond the human mind's/body's limits that exists in modern times.
Perhaps this could be something similar to Homo Sapiens and Neanderthals: Homo Sapiens (humans) developed the technology that put them ahead of the Neanderthals(pokemon). Such as with pokeballs, which may have induced a sort of superiority mentality because now they could 'capture' pokemon; causing a social view from equal beings to the now pet/tools/companion status.
