>>14246765An RPG can only go so far before everyone gets sick of it and starts chanting for a sequel. Not every buyer will get the first Pokemon DLC, and the numbers will keep dropping off until it makes better financial sense to make a new game.
That being said I don't think that'll happen with Pokemon. If the fans expect a hundred new Pokemon every gen then you can bet your ass they'll be saving their monster designs for that. Nintendo in general isn't all that DLC friendly either. The most I can see is stuff like Trainer Clothes as DLC or other cosmetics.
But again. Nintendo + DLC. That shit's not likely in any form. Maybe a side story DLC that comes with a battle tower or something, but I can practically guarantee Pokemon won't be DLC.
