/vp/ How powerful is Mewtwo? Is Mew the most powerful since it is the originator of "all" pokemon?

If not, then what is the most powerful legendary

In-Game and stat-wise? Arceus is the most powerful so far.

In the anime I believe Mewtwo to be the most powerful, but I haven't seen the Arceus movie.

I'm curious about the manga. Anyone know?

Arceus in the movie is crazy. It can be whatever type it wants for the occasion, so it can switch on the fly to become immune or resistant to attacks. And it slapped the shit out of dialga, palkia and giratina at the same time.

It wasn't invincible though, since a guy tricked it into stepping into 100 thunderbolts at once when it didn't have the ground plate.

Arceus is by far the most powerful in the Anime. It can create things out of nothing, change its type at will, teleport, fly, and it dominates everything else completely.

In-game, there is no single most powerful Pokemon, that's the whole point of type differences and the value of catching 'em all. As for the highest Base Stat Totals, Arceus still comes out on top.

That mewtwo fought gengar, articuno, and three other pokemon before Red sent out Charizard, and wasn't seen to use Recover during the fight.

Still, I put Origin mewtwo below first movie mewtwo. It was just a crazed creature lashing out at whatever was in front of it, while movietwo is focused and logical.
