But on the topic now: I feel a lot of the less popular Pokémon who got evolutions in Gen IV only did so because GF kind of thought they were a bit too shitty and needed an up.

Stantler doesn't evolve from Bambi, so he is better. Sawsbuck also looks silly with pretty much any season other than Ice with "hair" that puts Delphox's to shame.

That said, Stantler should have been Normal/Psychic with his hypnotizing antlers to be less bland.
