Me too. The tongue references both its frog and its ninja aspects, and the lack of bubbles is accurate to frogs losing the foam on their skin as they mature. I didn't like the tongue at first, but now I think it's clever as hell and really cool. I wanted the fake to be real until I realized that it does nothing to communicate the "rogue" concept that Froakie's line is supposed to represent.

Especially when people don't realize that the lack of bubbles means it's grown up.
Young frogs coat themselves in bubbles for protection, when they grow up and no longer need it, they lick it off.
I initially was unsure about Greninja but I like it now I know the idea behind it.
