Just to point out for the people that are worried about it: There is obviously some way for you to not wear a hat at some point.
My hopes? Some slick futuristic-looking stuff (Sorta Team Galactic-esque) available in white, and a wide range of hair and eye colors. I doubt they'd do a color picker/slider for clothing, but one for hair wouldn't be too hard, and would be appreciated.
Also hoping for "costume" outfits, like Team Rocket/Aqua/Magma/Galactic/etc costumes, previous protag outfits, or even something silly like a Pikachu or other various pokemon mascot outfits like the Pokemaniacs in previous gens.
Also flip-flops. I need my flip-flops.
