Well, I'll tell you.
Back when I was 9 I got Pokemon for Christmas. I expected to get the Red version, but to my surprise I got a Hyper-Realistic looking version called Blood.
The Cartridge had a Charizard bleeding with the word blood at the bottom.
I was too excited and just shrugged it off and started my adventure.
When I was naming my trainer and Gary it would only use the name Blood, no matter what I typed.
I finally got in game, there was blood everywhere, Hyper-Realistic blood.
Soon my gameboy started leaking blood and the game turned off.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing with my Hyper-Realistic eyes.
I threw it outside at the nearest Hyper-Realistic trashcan I could find.
To this day I still haven't heard or seen about it ever again.
But I still have the picture of the cartridge.

(forgive me, I can't find the picture that went along with it at the moment)

This guy shows up just before the 5th gym without any explanation, says this, and disappears. He's also huge compared to Calem and every other adult seen so far.

Like, as in, he just says that, walks away, and we never see him again? I mean, who is this guy? Why does he tell you this? Why the hell is he fuck huge in height? Will we ever get the answer to these questions?

If we never see this guy ever again in the game, this is a mystery I actually am curious about. Because seriously, a mysterious giant hobo that talks a flower pokemon and then vanishes forever, guys.

I was trying to put my head through this one but damn, I'm drawing blank. As for now, I'm assuming he's the Kalos Champion.

Though he might be a secret post-game NPC with a very strong team, on par or a bit better than the Champion him/herself.

Or he could be a pivotal character in Pokemon Z. That, or he's a foreshadowing of Gen VII because of his one time appearance throughout main plotline.

A tall as hell mysterious hobo that lives in the tundra and talks about a flower pokemon to travels he/it finds, then vanishes as fast as he showed up, never to be seen or found again by those who've seen him/it. It's like the perfect spooky story you'd tell at a campfire. I love it.
