Of course there's a fuckload of Fairy types this gen, it's a new type and it has a looooot of catching up to do if type numbers are going to be at all balanced. Why the fuck would we have 700+ pokemon and only have like 8 of them be Fairy?

this is the type distribution for all of the new pokemon revealed. old mons are not included and are considered irrelevant

No shit, which is why I asked for type distribution for the whole region.

It's also hardly surprising Fairy got priority for gen 6 mons.
