/vp/oreons, I haven't seen a single Leaks General all day so I can't find the info I'm looking for. Do your gen 1 starters come with their megastones? Are they tradable?

Actually yes, it was confirmed mega stones could be tradable. I don't recall exactly where I read that, but I know it was an actually trustable source.

Are there multiple mega stones? Or does the mega stone do a different thing in each game automatically, a la Deoxys?

I'll be pissed if they don't. Why would Charizard be the only one?

Charizard has a different Mega evolution dependant on version exclusive stones.

Mewtwo does as well.

These are the only mega evos we know of yet that are version exclusive and also two different megas for a single Pokemon.

But you understand that everyone does, right? So put 2 and 2 together and think about what a good marketing strategy would be. If all of the starters had two Mega Evolutions, then people would really care about individual versions as much. But by giving it only to the extremely popular Pokemon, it gives you incentive to buy both because you're fucking stupid and would lick GameFreak's shit off of a 3DS screen.
