>>14263425Let me explain something to you:
The person who leaked Greninja and Hawlucha said that there were 70 new Pokemon.
He ALSO said that Xerneas had a NATIONAL DEX NUMBER of 715 (putting Yveltal at 716). He said that there were two blank spaces after Yveltal, then the Z legendary, putting the total national Dex number at 719.
Now, we have seen 67 Pokemon, all of which form complete evo lines.
There are 649 Pokemon as of Gen V.
649 + 67 = 716, which is EXACTLY where Yveltal's national Dex number was. Three more Pokemon (two blank spaces, then the Z legend) brings the number up to 70.
There are occasionally event legendaries which actually expand the total size of the obtained national dex (Mew, Victini, etc).
But there are NEVER ordinary, non-legendary Pokemon that come after the box legends in the national dex.
Meaning that what remains to be seen are:
(1) two unknown legendary Pokemon of some variety
(2) the Z-box-art legendary of the trio
(3) some event legends that are as-yet undisclosed to anyone.
(4) some Mega-Evolutions we haven't seen yet
That's it. That's all. That's what the facts point to. If this turns out to not be the case, it will mean that GF slapped Box Art legendaries in the middle of the goddamn national dex list, with ordinary non-legends after them, for absolutely no discernable reason and in a total break with one of the most consistent MUH PATTERNS of the entire franchise, in direct contradiction to a leaker who credibly claimed the opposite.
It's not happening. 70 new mons; deal with it. Accept it. Move on.
