>>14266934>Saying that a generation that never stopped throwing trainers at you (high level ones at that) is equivalent to one that low balled the fuck out of everything except the league and Red, is almost offensively stupid.Glad to know you don't remember gen 4 at the slightest. Trainer curve there went from 45-50 in victory road to about 50 in the elite 4, all culminating in cynthia having a team of 60s.
getting your team on par would demand use of the VS seeker (which is bad planning).
Also glad to see you can't provide an actual argument past 'BUT THEY THROW LOTS OF TRAINERS AT YOU' (they actually only have 14 in victor road fightable before getting Nat Dex, and those don't get pokemon over 49, staying closer to the 45-47 range. Even in Pt it was similar with only a couple of level 50s tossed in.)
In DP they start at 53-57, in Pt they're 51-53
For the champion, in DP you get 60-66, for Pt it's 58-62
The elite 4 requires you to be about 10-12 levels higher than victory road in DP and about 8-10 levels higher than victory road in Pt compared to the champion.
If you honestly think that's 'well paced', then you got some really poor definition of pacing.
