Why are so many genVI pokemon either Fairy or Dragon? I mean, it feels like a ton of psychics to me, too, but maybe I'm just crazy.

So, why is this? Is it to balance the game more, like make the total amount of fairy equal to the total number of, say, fighting types? Same with dragons: it's always been kind of a rare type, right?
